Payment

Secure payment:

I utilize the services of Paypal Wallet to handle your payments safely. No bank or credit card information will be disclosed to me. All payments are made in real time.

Payment plan:

It is possible to request a payment plan for a specific item. Contact me if you would like to do so. The item will be shipped once it has been paid in full.

Order cancelation:

I do not accept order cancelations. Do only proceed with your purchase if you are truly committed to buying.

Shipping

Free worldwide shipping:

I use the services of PostNord Denmark to ship my items across the world. All my prices include 1st priority shipping with Track&Trace and at least one attempt at home delivery.

Packaging:

Your order will be packed securely and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box with plastic wrappings inside. Each plush is packed in a plastic bag as an extra precaution against dirt and moisture. I reuse packaging materials for my shipments.

Order processing:

Finished plushies will be packed and dispatched within 1-2 workdays after received payment. Commissioned items have a longer processing time and may take a few weeks before they are ready to be shipped. You are welcome to contact me for a time estimate if you are considering a made-upon-order item.

Tracking information:

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an e-mail containing your tracking information. You should be able to begin tracking your item within a couple of hours from receiving the notification. Please contact me, if you suspect that your tracking information may be incorrect and I'll look into it.

Estimated delivery time upon dispatch:

⚠️ Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic longer shipping times and other delays are to be expected.

_* Within Denmark: 1-2 workdays
_* Within the European Union: Typically 2-3 workdays
_* Everywhere else: 1-4 weeks, depending on the destination and possible processing time at customs.

Delivery times may be slower, especially around holidays.

Import fees:

When an item is shipped to an address outside of the European Union, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are beyond my control and are at your own expense.

Returns and Exchanges

Returning an item:

If you should wish to return your purchase, this can only be done upon agreement and provided that the below requirements are all met:

_*   No more than 14 days have passed since you received the item.
_*   The item is in flawless, reselling condition (now and when it reaches me).
_*   Your household is free from pets (including hypoallergenic breeds) and plants known to cause allergic responses in sensitive people, as well as cigarette smoke and other strong odors (such as perfume, incense, air freshener etc.)
_*   The item has been packed securely and according to my directions.
_*   You send it back with Track&Trace and pay for the return shipping.
_* You relay the tracking number to me, so that I can keep tabs on the parcel.
Once I've gotten my item back, and have confirmed that it is indeed in mint selling condition, I'll refund you the purchase price (minus any fees and shipping expenses I've had).

If the returned item fails to meet the above requirements, a full refund is no longer possible. You will be given the option of either a partial refund, or to have the item sent back to you (shipping cost applies).

Damaged or lost items

Damaged item:

Please note that once a parcel has been accepted by the post office, I can no longer oversee and take responsibility for what happens underway. I do my best to ensure a safe and quick shipment! If your item should arrive damaged, it is important that you contact me as soon as possible, so that we can sort things out. Be sure to provide a detailed description of the damage, as well as photographs showing the extent of the damage (both the item itself and the parcel it came in). Depending on the nature of the damage the item might need a price reduction, mending or replacing.

Replacement will only be possible after I've gotten the item back. One of a kind items (OOAK) can not be replaced. If the OOAK is beyond saving you'll be given a full refund instead (including return shipping).

Damage that occurs after the item has been delivered and is a direct result of improper handling, is beyond my responsibility.

Examples of improper handling:

_* Failure to follow the given guidelines regarding the item's proper usage and maintenance.
_* Not keeping the item away from young children or pets.
_* Handling the item roughly through play or otherwise.
_* Exposing the item to heat or open flame (imitate fur is made of plastic and will melt if subjected to high temperatures. The item may also catch fire).
_* Making the item wet.
_* Leaving the item outside.

Having an item repaired:

That said, accidents do still happen. Feel free to contact me if your item is in need of mending and I'll see what can be done about it. If it's an easy fix, I might be able to guide you through the process of fixing it. If it is a more complicated repair (but still mendable in my opinion) you can send the damaged item back to me for repairs. Keep in mind that I'll charge you for the shipping and time spent on the repairs.

Lost item:

So far I've never lost anything to the mail and I hope that it stays that way. If you suspect that your item may have been lost in transit, please contact me and I'll look into it.

Please note that replacement or full refund of a lost item is only possible if the below criteria are met:

_* The item was dispatched with Track&Trace and was sent to a country, where tracking is fully supported.
_* A proper investigation into the whereabouts of the missing parcel has been done by the postal service.

Additional Information

Allergy:

All the items I offer for sale are made in a smoke-, perfume- and mostly pet free environment. I do however have a cat and I like to bring my finished plushies outside to photograph them.

Skrållan is my trusted sewing assistant and she takes this position very seriously. She is always eager to "help" me in any way she can while I work on my plushies.

Contact me if you would like to place an order but have minor allergy concerns. I'll take steps to try and limit exposure to my cat during production and will refrain from bringing your plush outside for photographing.

⚠️ I advise against buying one of my plushies, if you or another family member are suffering from severe allergy against cats or plant material!

Posable plush with joints:

All of my dog plush are fitted with simple joints that enable their legs to be moved back and forth. This allows the plush to adopt different poses and makes it suitable to be used in decorative arrangements or for photographing. Depending on when the plush was made, one of two types of joints have been used. The first eight dogs were all fitted with handmade button joints. This type of joint is frail however and have been replaced by plastic safety joints in later pups.

Button joints

This type of joint is handmade and consist of two large plastic buttons joined together by a length of braided upholstery thread. Button joints work by connecting two adjacent limbs and sandwiching the body in between. This setup keeps each limb tight to the body and allows for gentle posing, but is susceptible to breaking.

Pros:

_* Limbs fitted by button joints can be positioned seemingly independant of eachother.
_* Button joints do not interfere with the threadsculpting of the body, as they allow for it to be finished prior to the limbs being fitted.
_* The braided string pulls the limbs "into" the body and keep them close. This lends the body additional shape and makes the plush more streamlined.
_* The pulling force between two adjacent limbs can be adjusted if needed. For example if there is too much slack in the braided string, resulting in the limbs moving too freely.
_* Broken button joints do not cause any irreversible damage to the plush itself. Once the broken joint has been replaced and the plush repaired, it should look as good as new.

Cons:

_* Button joints can easily be provoked into breaking by turning a limb full circle repeatedly. This over rotation causes the string that holds the limbs together to overtighten and break. Once this has happened both associated limbs will come off.
_* Plush fitted with button joints are purely ornamental, as they are too frail to be used as toys. In addition they can not be washed if they get dirty.

Plastic safety joints

Plastic safety joints are made of white plastic and consist of three parts. The first joint disc with a ridged locking stem, then a second joint disc and finally the locking washer. These joints meet the EN71 safety standard when used correctly. Plastic safety joints work by attaching each limb individually to the side of the body, as opposed to the button joint running all the way through the body and connecing two limbs. Plush with plastic safety joints will only loose their limbs if handled roughly.

Pros:

_* Over rotation cannot occur in plush fitted with plastic safety joints, as each limb is fitted with its own individual and free moving joint.
_* Plastic safety joints are much sturdier compared to button joints and won't break easily. They aren't immune to breaking however.
_* Plush fitted with plastic safety joints can be used as a toy. I do not recommend this use with any of my dog plush however, as they can't be washed if they get dirty and contain many small details that may get damaged easily.

Cons:

_* Plastic safety joints need to be mounted early during assembly and prior to stuffing. They interfere greatly with the thread sculpting of the body.
_* Plush with plastic safety joints are broader across the chest and hip, as these areas are made inaccessible to thread sculpting and the joints themselves do not contribute towards a more narrow body shape.
_* Plush with plastic safety joints may struggle to maintain poses with outstretched limbs as the joints are smooth and offer little traction.
_* A great deal of force is required to tear limbs from a plush with safety joints. This means that the plush is likely to suffer damage that might not be mendable.
