Meet Ophelia the adorable lamb plushie. This affectionate little baby girl loves to be caressed, especially around her ears and will suckle on your finger if you let her. She's still a little wobbly on her legs and has been fitted with a large bell to ensure that she doesn't stray too far.
Item description:
This dark brown cutie is modelled after a newborn lamb and is covered by short, knotted fur. It has an adorable black face with a v-shaped nose, brown eyes and large, super soft ears that stand out to the sides. The lower portion of the legs are made from black fabric, simillar to the one used for the face and ears. The feet are dark grey. They sport actual cloven hooves and petite dew claws. The muzzle is just as elaborate and has a slightly opened mouth with a tiny pink tongue sticking out of it. The tongue can be hidden from view by tucking it away inside the mouth cavity.
As with all items in my store, the above plush was designed by me and will also be reproduced by me. A lot of effort and care goes into making a realistic plush like this. Particularly into the head and feet, which are all hand sewn and contain many minuscule parts, that are notoriously hard to assemble. Once finished this plush will stand about 30 cm tall and measure 40 cm long. It will also be wearing a beautiful custom made brocade collar with a bell. The collar is fully removable and the inside will be lined with black fabric to make it more durable. The collar is available in multiple colors.
Materials:
This cute plush will be made in an environment free of cigarette smoke and perfume, but not entierly pet free as I have cats.
The body will be made from fabric with a knotted fur structure that mimics lamb fur. Super soft short pile minky will be used to make her face, ears and lower legs, with the fur on the legs being slightly longer. The nose and feet will be made with synthetic suede, a fabric that is made to resemble brushed leather and has a soft feel to it. High quality velour will be used for the tongue. The plushie will be fitted with plastic safety eyes that measure 14 mm across and are fastened with washers. Imitate leather will be used to outline the eyes to improve their shape and to make them more life like. The body will be stuffed with siliconized polyester fibers until firm enough for the plush to stand properly.
The collar is fully removable and will be made from a ribbon with a beautifully woven brocade on a dark base. A 4 cm tall metal bell will be attached to the collar. The inside of the collar will be lined with black fabric to make it more durable.
Usage:
This plush is best used as an ornamental piece for indoors decoration purposes. It is not suitable as a toy and should be kept away from young children and pets at all times. It can be used for play with older children if handled gently. Keep in mind though, that this is an artist doll. It is a work of art and not a toy. The plush can't be washed if it gets dirty and may easily get damaged.
